Hazard takes R2 pole as Lucky and Woody glow

  • Eden Hazard posted the highest points return in Round 2

  • Other Belgians, Mexicans and Germans starred

  • Kane, Lewandowski, Mane and Rodriguez are among the Day 11 captain options

Eden Hazard (€10m) won a penalty, scored it and added a fine second goal to reward his McDonald’s Fantasy World Cup™ selectors with a Round 2-high 12 points. Romelu Lukaku (€10m), Wahbi Khazri (€6.5) and Marco Reus (€8m) each got nine points, while Germany's 11th-hour hero Toni Kroos (€9m) got seven.

Other big hitters on Day 10 were Dylan Bronn (€4.5m), Carlos Vela (€7.5m), Javier Hernandez (€8.5m), Son Heungmin (€8m) and Ola Toivonen (€7m), who got six apiece.

Highest-scoring players

Round 2: Eden Hazard (12 points), Ahmed Musa (10), Wahbi Khazri (9), Romelu Lukaku (9), Kenneth Omeruo (9), Marco Reus (9), Luka Modric (8), Ivan Rakitic (8), Mo Salah (8).

Overall: Cristiano Ronaldo (22 points), Denis Cheryshev (20), Romelu Lukaku (19), Jose Gimenez (18), Eden Hazard (17), Diego Costa (16), Luka Modric (16), Aleksandr Golovin (15).

Change your captain

The player who finishes Round 2 as your captain will score double points, and this is your last chance to make a change. If you have Eden Hazard, Luka Modric or Ahmed Musa in your armband, you probably don’t want to risk changing. But if your current captain didn’t score many points in Round 2, and you have a player in action on Day 11, you probably want to make him your skipper before the Day 11 deadline (14:00 CET on Sunday).

Make substitutions

If a player in your starting XI didn’t perform well, you can substitute him out for a player on your bench who hasn’t yet played. However, if you want to bring in James Rodriguez for Kevin De Bruyne, you have up until the kick-off of the first game of the day (14:00 CET on Sunday).
