FIFA's Technical Study Group to evaluate tournament

FIFA has appointed a 7-man group to compile a technical analysis of theteams and matches in the 2001 World Youth Championship.

The group is coordinated by Jean-Paul Brigger (Switzerland), a former Swissinternational and First Division coach who is now a member of the FIFATechnical Department and who will be assisted during the Championship by theformer Argentinian international, Nestor Clausen. The other members areJacques Crevoisier (France, newly appointed as assistant coach at Liverpoolin England), Charles Gyamfi (Ghana, member of the FIFA Technical Committee),Dick Howard (Canada, member of the FIFA Technical Committee), MohasesMorteza (Iran, FIFA coaching instructor) Roberto Perfumo (Argentina, memberof the FIFA Football Committee).

The group will not only analyse the matches but also compile reports on howthe teams have prepared for the competition, and they will also select ahypothetical all-star team at the end of the event.
