FIFA President Gianni Infantino has today met with French Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports, Jean-Michel Blanquer, discussing collaboration projects designed to extend the sport’s reach through youth development.

FIFA has started operating in its new office in Paris – where FIFA was founded in 1904 - in order to bolster cooperation with member associations and international institutions vital to football’s global growth.

Today’s meeting in Paris focused on the various projects that football organisations can operate in tandem with governmental institutions, notably related to education, to make football’s foundations sustainable and strengthening the future of both the sport and the communities touched by it.
