FIFA eWorld Cup champion wins eSports Console Player of the Year award

  • Mosaad 'Msdossary' Aldossary received the trophy at the eSports Awards in London

  • FIFA eWorld Cup™ commentators Brandon Smith & Richard Buckley nominated for eSports Broadcaster of the Year award

The FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 champion, Mosaad 'Msdossary' Aldossary, beat eight impressive fellow nominees to scoop the eSports Console Player of the Year award in London. The Saudi Arabian was also runner-up in the eSports Console Rookie of the Year award.

After a very successful year in which he became the second player from Saudi Arabia to clinch the FIFA eWorld Cup title, clinched a $250,000 prize at the event and won a trip to The Best FIFA Football Awards ™, Aldossary added another trophy to his collection at the eSports Awards in London.

FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 commentators Brandon Smith and Richard Buckley were also nominated for the eSports Broadcaster of the Year award. Despite being beaten to the accolade, the nomination marks another milestone for the pair at an early stage in their careers.
