Awards season is in full swing heading into the final month of the year. Our FIFA Fan Movement members took time to acknowledge some of 2019's brightest stars.

Masterful Miedema

Last Sunday, Arsenal set a Women's Super League record by finding the back of the net a staggering 11 times in their win over Bristol City. Dutch forward Vivianne Miedema was involved in all but one of the goals, scoring six and assisting four. Don't miss the highlights from one of the great individual performances in recent memory, courtesy of Mexico Fan Movement member lruizm.

Who's the best?

For the second year running, The Guardian are rolling out their list of the top 100 women's footballers in the world. The list of experts who voted is nearly as long: new USA head coach Vlatko Andonovski plus FIFA Legends Lotta Schelin and Sun Wen headline a docket of 93 judges representing 44 countries. You can view selections 100-11 right now, shared by reggae_girlz_f.

Africa's top 10

CAF has whittled down the shortlist for African Player of the Year to 10 finalists, which has caught the eye of Golden_Knight14 and the rest of the footballing world. Scintillating Liverpool attackers Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane made the cut, as well as fellow Premier League standouts Riyad Mahrez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

A humble acceptance speech

Alisson Becker is sweeping the year's goalkeeping awards. Already crowned The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper earlier this year, the Brazilian took home the first-ever Yashin trophy this week in Paris. No stranger to being confused for the Liverpool man on Twitter, USA-based actor Alison Becker embraced it with open arms. Have a laugh at this one thanks to PramuajiAjay.

Friendly banter

The commitment of this Newcastle fan to celebrating victory cannot be understated. Following the Magpies' 3-2 win over Everton in March, he drove over 100 miles simply to tease a friend who supports the Toffees. Now @DJ__NUFC proudly includes 'L'Équipe Fan of the Year 2019' in his Twitter bio, a titled bestowed upon him this week by the French publication. Certainly India Fan Movement member RolanGomes19 applauds the distinction.
