Emirates Airline has become an Official Partner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup?. The partnership was announced today at a press conference in Dubai, UAE. FIFA Vice-President Jack Warner and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman of the Emirates Group, signed the agreement for the sponsorship in the presence of FIFA General Secretary Urs Linsi and Franz Beckenbauer, the President of the Local Organising Committee Germany 2006. Emirates? product category includes aerial passenger and cargo-related products and services. To date, 12 other companies have officially confirmed their involvement as Official Partners of the 2006 FIFA World Cup? - adidas, Avaya, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Continental, Deutsche Telekom, Gillette, Hyundai, McDonald?s, Philips, Toshiba and Yahoo!
