  • The overall winner will claim Europe’s final berth at France 2019

The play-off draw for the FIFA Women's World Cup™, which took place in Nyon, Switzerland, marked the path to glory for Europe’s last four contenders for a place at France 2019.

The UEFA zone play-off draw is as follows:

  • 1. Netherlands v Denmark

  • 2. Belgium v Switzerland

  • Final: Netherlands/Denmark v Belgium/Switzerland

The two-legged semi-finals will be played between 1 and 9 October, while the final, which will also be decided over two legs, will take place between 5 and 13 November. The draw also decided the order in which the games will be played.

The aforementioned quartet were the four best second-placed teams from the seven groups in the qualifying phase, which afforded direct finals’ berths to England, Germany, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Sweden and Spain. France qualified as hosts.

The global showpiece will take place across nine French cities between 7 June and 7 July 2019.
