Just like every Sunday, we whet your appetite with a sneak peek at what FIFA.com will be serving up in the coming days.
The home straight is upon us in the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Following the semi-finals on Tuesday and Wednesday, the tournament will be wrapped up in style on Saturday with the final and the play-off for third place. Who will claim the throne vacated by Brazil? To find out, keep an eye on FIFA.com, where we will be continuing to pull out all the stops so that you can follow the proceedings closely.
As one global showpiece draws to an end, another is primed to begin, namely the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Jordan 2016, which gets underway on Friday. The top 16 countries in the world in this age group will be doing battle for the title currently held by Japan. FIFA.com has already set up shop in the host nation and will be ramping up the fever all week long through profiles, exclusive interviews and previews, among other things.
But first things first – on Monday a special event will be taking place at the FIFA World Football Museum: the official presentation of EA FIFA 17, the most popular football game on the planet. This will also be a fitting occasion for the announcement of the format of the next FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC). FIFA.com will be bringing you the lowdown ahead of the big kick-off on 1 October.
Likewise coming your way on Monday will be an analysis of the second legs of the CAF Champions League semi-finals and a preview of the AFC Champions League last four. The winners of these two competitions will respectively represent Africa and Asia at December's FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
As ever, the FIFA World Cup™ will also be in the spotlight throughout the week, with looks back over the event's history and forward to the next edition in Russia.
All that aside, there is plenty else of interest in store for you over the coming days, from exclusive interviews to statistics, archive material, videos and more.
Have a fantastic week full of football on FIFA.com.
