Former Italy and AC Milan striker Stefano Borgonovo, who now suffers from a debilitating disease, writes about Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri for

"How can I talk about AC Milan today without mentioning the club's leading figures [Silvio] Berlusconi, [Adriano] Galliani and [
Massimiliano] Allegri?

Milan. Dear fans of the red and black devil (as Roberto Benigni would say), the aforementioned people have once again demonstrated their outstanding character and love for AC Milan, and Max Allegri.

Club president Berlusconi has, as always, made the right decision by keeping faith in Allegri as coach. For a moment I feared that he would not, but his instinct and expertise led him to choose well. You will not regret it Mr. President.

Galliani is the best
CEO in the world. The way he handles even the most complex situations is incredible and he reminds me of 'Super Pippo' Inzaghi in the penalty area: he is a quick-witted and intelligent person.

After all, Galliani believes that Max Allegri is more than worthy of being named COACH, in capital letters.

While the league title he won in his first campaign and the runners-up medal the following year were remarkable, it is the recently concluded season that leads me to write that Allegri is a fantastic coach!"
