FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™

Stadium Australia

The spectacular Stadium Australia was the centrepiece of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Built for the millennium Olympiad, it was also the venue for the final of the Men’s Olympic football tournament, attracting an Australian record of 104,098 spectators for a football match. Host to many of the nation’s major sporting events in recent years, it memorably was the scene of Australia’s dramatic 2005 qualification for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in 32 years, and Australia’s victory in the AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 final. It has also hosted numerous A-League and W-League matches.

Gross Capacity: 83,500
