Navi Mumbai

A relatively new city, Navi or “new” Mumbai was developed as a twin city for the commercial capital of India, Mumbai in 1972.

It has since become one of the finest and largest well-planned townships of the world, and perfectly demonstrates urbanisation in India. Navi Mumbai has now become a geographical part of Mumbai itself. Away from the hustle of Mumbai, it is known for its green spaces and areas of forest.

Mumbai, which prides itself as the 'city that never sleeps', is the home of the country’s Hindi film industry, 'Bollywood'. The financial capital of the country provides us with a unique blend of uptown savviness and rural splendour in a chorus.

Navi Mumbai was also among the host cities when India played host to the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017.
