A major milestone on the road to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will take place on Tuesday 3 September: the launch of the Official Emblem.

To jog your memory of some of the iconic emblems of the past, we are inviting you to take part in the FIFA World Cup Greatest Emblem bracket!

From Tuesday 20 August until Monday 2 September, you can take part in the voting on the official FIFA World Cup Twitter account to find your favourite, spanning from 1930 through to 2018.

It’s a vote that will bring back memories of a poster on your bedroom wall, the first Panini album you had or even the first World Cup you watched on TV.

The first of five preliminary matches is Switzerland 1954 against Sweden 1958. The bracket will then progress into a Round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals. The final will take place on 1 September, with the winner announced the following day.
