Philippe Le Floc’h, FIFA Chief Commercial Officer: "The FIFA Confederations Cup is the Tournament of Champions, and it is a very great honour for the teams to take part in it. For Russian fans it is a unique opportunity to see the best teams and best players in their country. And for us it is also an opportunity to see the first results of the hard work done by the LOC together with FIFA and their partners. The opening of the FIFA Venue Ticketing Centres is an important milestone for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017. Until now tickets were only available on FIFA.com, but now they are available in physical form. Alfa Bank is our first regional sponsor for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and we have worked hand in hand with Alfa to prepare for the opening of the FIFA Venue Ticketing Centres."

Gilberto Silva, FIFA Legend, FIFA World Cup and FIFA Confederations Cup winner: "I have won the FIFA Confederations Cup twice and I must say that it is a great competition. Even taking part in it already means that you have deserved it by winning a competition. And also it’s like a kick-off for next year, for the FIFA World Cup. I hope Russia inspires a lot of people who will come here in a few months. I wish all the best to the host national team, though I know it is not easy for any host country."

Pyotr Aven, chairman of the Board of Directors at Alfa-Bank: "As regional sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, we are pleased to assist with the Ticketing Programme. We are convinced that customer services should be as convenient and technologically advanced as possible for everyone, and that’s why we’re supporting FIFA in providing online payments and other banking services. Today we are also delighted to help out with the opening of FIFA’s Venue Ticketing Centres, which for many are the first step on the way to the upcoming football tournaments."

Denis Glushakov, Russia and Spartak Moscow midfielder: "Firstly, I’d like to say it’s great to be here at such an important event! This ticketing centre will be the first port of call for fans on the way to the Confederations Cup, which is taking place for the first time in history in Russia. For me as a player for the national team, it really is a huge honour to compete for this trophy. Of course, the team won’t be able to achieve a good result without the support of the fans. I’d like to see full stadiums, and we’ll do everything we can to meet the supporters’ expectations. By the way, the ticket design looks really good; I like it!"
