Lopetegui set to take Real Madrid reins

Real Madrid have announced that Julen Lopetegui will take over at the club following the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, with the Spain coach set to lead the current European champions into the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018.

Lopetegui, 51, will take over at the recent UEFA Champions League winners once La Roja's tournament comes to an end.

Replacing the out-going Zinedine Zidane, who led Real to two Club World Cup and three Champions League titles in a little over two years, the former FC Porto coach will make his return to club football after leading the Portuguese side from 2014-2016.
