Juventus and Monaco advance to semis

Juventus and Monaco built on their first-leg performances to secure spots in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals with assured displays in Wednesday’s quarter-final, second legs.

Juventus made their three-goal haul in the first leg at home to Barcelona count, as the Italian champions earned a 0-0 draw at the Camp Nou to advance to the last four with a 3-0 aggregate success. Free-scoring Monaco joined Il Bianconeri and the two Madrid clubs - Atleti and Real – in the semis after an impressive 3-1 home win over Borussia Dortmund for a convincing 6-3 aggregate result.
