Atletico Madrid and Monaco completed the quarter-final line-up for the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League after claiming second-leg results in their Round of 16 ties on Wednesday.

Monaco overcame a two-goal deficit from the first leg to defeat Manchester City 3-1 at Stade Louis II to advance to the last eight on the away goals rule after a 6-6 aggregate result. Atletico made their first-leg win at Bayer Leverkusen stand up in Wednesday’s home match, as last year’s Champions League finalists earned a goalless draw with their German opponents at the Vicente Calderon.
