UAE’s hero of the hour was Humaid Jamal, who secured the win for his side by saving Panama’s fourth spot-kick. “I knew I had to be 200 times more focused than before,” he said afterwards. “I managed to stop it and I’m very happy. I want to thank God for everything. Now we have to think about the next match, which could see us go through to the next round.”
