Thomas Muller played his 548th competitive match for Bayern Munich on Saturday, which took him past Hans-Georg Schwarzenbeck. Only one outfield player since 1965 has more: Gerd Muller, with 565 competitive matches.
Marcelo Gallardo reached his 300th match as River Plate head coach. During his tenure, he's won 157 games, lost 83 and drawn 59.
Harry Kane scored his 200th goal for Tottenham Hotspur this week, becoming the third player to reach the milestone for the club. His strike in Spurs' 3-1 victory over Ludogorets was also his 100th away goal and it came on his 300th appearance for the club. Kane then followed that up today by grabbing his 150th Premier League to secure his team a late win away at West Bromwich Albion. Only two players in Premier League history have reached that milestone in fewer games than Kane (218): Alan Shearer (212) and Sergio Agüero (217).
Sergio Ramos scored his 100th goal for Real Madrid in all competitions when he opened the scoring in Los Merengues' 3-2 victory over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
Fifty FA Women’s Super League goals was the milestone reached by Ellen White on Saturday. The England striker bagged a double in her Manchester City's 8-1 demolition of Bristol City, becoming just the second player after Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema to reach the half-century mark.
Mainz have converted each of their last 28 penalties in the Bundesliga. Die Nullfünfer maintained their remarkable run, which stretches all the way back to April 2013, by scoring twice from the spot in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Schalke.
Borussia Monchengladbach's 6-0 rout of Shakhtar Donetsk marked the first German UEFA Champions League win on Ukrainian soil in 26 years. The last time was when Bayern Munich won 4-1 in Kiev.
Seven years and six months after he last came off the bench to score a La Liga brace – against Real Betis in May 2013 – Lionel Messi repeated the trick against the same opponents on Saturday. It was the fifth time in the Argentinian’s remarkable career that he has scored a top flight double as a substitute.
Carlos Soler became the first player to score three penalties in a single La Liga match in the 21st century as mid-table Valencia stunned Real Madrid 4-1 in an action-packed contest on Sunday evening. Fourth-placed Madrid remain four points off pacesetters Real Sociedad heading into the international break.
Lille's Yusuf Yazici became the first player in the history of major UEFA European competition to score two away hat-tricks in a single season. The Turkey international scored all three goals in Lille's 3-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro in UEFA Europa League Group H on Thursday and he scored three in their opening 4-1 victory over Sparta Prague. The win against Milan snapped the Italian giants' unbeaten run of 24 matches in all competitions, which was the club's longest unbeaten run for 24 years.
