The Grand Final is here!

Next stop, New York! The 32 Grand Finalists for the 2016 edition of the world’s largest gaming tournament are about to land in New York! From 20-22 March, 32 qualified players from all over the world will compete in virtual football’s equivalent of the FIFA World Cup™. As we prepare for hours of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 16 football and entertainment live from New York, FIFA.comgives you the rundown on how, and where, to enjoy your Grand Final experience.

Times Square Draw (20 March)The Row Hotel will host the 32 Grand Finalists for the official Group Stage draw. The Draw starts at 19:00 EST* (00:00 CET) and will decide the composition of the eight groups for the tournament. Follow our social media accounts for breaking news from the Times Square Draw.

Kick-off! (21 March)The big day! FIFA.com will be live streaming from the dizzy heights of the Skylark in New York! Join us right here on FIFA.com or on our official YouTube channel from 14:00-19:00 EST* (19:00-00:00 CET). We’re going bigger than ever before with live content for the FIWC and giving YOU the power to choose which matches to watch. All group stage matches will take place across 8 consoles, all of which will have their own dedicated live stream! Our main live stream show will be hosted by Kay Murray and include live commentary. The day ends with the Round Of 16 and Quarterfinal matches.

Final Showdown at the Apollo (22 March) It’s down to just four players on the final day, which is traditionally known as the Final Showdown. We’ll be coming to you live from Harlem’s World Famous Apollo Theater from 18:00-20:00 EST (23:00-01:00 CET). The Final Showdown will include some massive surprise guest appearances that you won’t want to miss. Kay Murray will host, our special guests will entertain and World Cup champion David Villa will crown the next world champion of virtual football!
