The FIFA eClub World Cup is back!

  • All eFootball clubs and organisations are invited to become eligible for the online qualification of the FIFA eClub World Cup™

  • Online qualification runs from 7 to 11 January 2019

  • FIFA eClub World Cup™ to take place on 9 and 10 February 2019

In Brief:

The FIFA eClub World Cup™ is the official eFootball team competition hosted by FIFA.

Who’s eligible to compete:

All eSports club and organisations with dedicated FIFA players are invited to register their team and their players on eFOOTBALL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. The team will be eligible to compete in the online qualification after the registration is approved by FIFA.

Timings:

  • Online qualification: 7 - 11 January 2019

  • FIFA eClub World Cup: 9 - 10 February 2019

Format:

After successfully competing in the regional online qualifying matches, 15 qualified teams will join the defending champions Brøndby IF at the FIFA eClub World Cup 2019. Each team will compete with two players - one on Xbox and one on PlayStation.

Prizes:

  • Total prize pool of 100,000 USD

  • 1,500 Global Series Points for each of the winning players

The qualification process starts with the official registration of your team and players on eFOOTBALL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, FIFA’s official player registration platform. Once registered and verified by FIFA, you will receive your team login to register your players. The team has the right to nominate two out of all registered players. The registration on eFOOTBALL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is the next adaption from real world football and another step to drive the professionalization of eFootball.

Only teams and players who have registered at eFOOTBALL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM are eligible to compete it the FIFA eClub World Cup online qualification.

How to apply for the FeCWC?

  1. Send your team details with an official team registration form to FIFA

  2. FIFA reviews your application and upon positive feedback, FIFA will register your team on eFOOTBALL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  3. Login details for player registration will be shared with teams

  4. Teams to register signed players with official documentation (i.a. player contract)

  5. Teams to receive invitation to online qualification

Please submit your application before 12:00 CET on 10 December 2018 to be considered for the qualification process of the FIFA eClub World Cup 2019, by sending the official team registration documentation to fifa.eworldcup@fifa.org.

What’s at stake?


At the FIFA eClub World Cup, 16 participating teams will compete for a prize pool of 100,000 USD and EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series Points (1500 for each of the winning players) on the race to the FIFA eWorld Cup in summer 2019. The FIFA eClub World Cup will take place on 9 and 10 February. The location will be announced shortly.

Two players per club or organisation

Each eFootball team must nominate two players to represent the club or organisation for the full duration of the online qualification process, which will take place from 7 to 11 January 2019, and the live tournament phase, with one player on Xbox One and one on PlayStation 4. Teams may not change players throughout qualification or during the live tournament phase.

Online qualification details

After receiving team applications, FIFA will verify the applications and divide them into different geographical regions, with the allocation of regional positions determined based on the amount of eligible teams. Both the Xbox and PlayStation players of the same team will play against the respective Xbox and PlayStation players of the opposing team in a 1v1 format, with the winning team determined based on the aggregate score of the two individual games. Matches are always played in a team format with two individual games: Xbox player vs Xbox player, PlayStation player vs PlayStation player, scores count as aggregate. All match-ups will be played in the FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Friendly Season mode.

Online qualification timeline

Exact match timings will be shared in advance before the qualification window opens on 7 January 2019. Teams will receive confirmation if their application has been successfully submitted by 13 December and will be required to confirm their agreement to the full tournament T&Cs by 11:59 CET Friday 04th January.
