Following on from RayZiaaH, FIFA.com continues its look at the players to watch at the FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Final in Berlin on 20-21 May. The gamer in the spotlight this week is Tassal 'Tass' Rushan, better known as 'Hashtag Tass', the winner of the first regional FUT final in Paris on 4 February.

“I think everyone was agreed that it was the tightest tournament they’ve ever played in,” the new European champion told FIFA.com. “This win means so much to me.”

“I’m going to be full of confidence when I go to Berlin,” continued the Londoner, an Arsenal fan and a professional player since 2013. “Before the Paris tournament, I just wanted to be in the top four and qualify. I’d had some good performances online and I knew I could do it. In a live event with so many good players, you never know what’s going to happen, though.”

Ranked second in the top 100 FUT players last November, Tass was hugely impressive in winning his way through to the final, where he took an early lead against 'Cihan' before having to fight off a comeback in the second leg.

“I learned so many things,” said the champion after surviving the scare in the fight for the continental title. “I made mistakes, and even though I won, I’m not pleased with myself. The final should have been more comfortable for me. When you’re 4-0 up on aggregate, there shouldn’t be any problems. He managed to cut the deficit and that shouldn’t have happened, especially with my style of play.

“This is a huge win for me, but I’m thinking bigger. I want to win in Berlin and make the FIWC,” added Tass, a past master at keeping possession and who, in waiting for his big chance on the world stage, is continuing to string together excellent performances online.
