August 'Agge' Rosenmeier - Denmark After becoming champion at the Grand Final in 2014, the Dane has the chance to win his second title this year. The upcoming tournament will be Rosenmeier’s sixth participation at the Grand Final, making him the outright record-holder for the most appearances at the event.

Ivan 'Boras' Lapanje - Sweden No contestant at the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final has been playing FIFA longer than Lapanje, who played his first game way back in 1998 as a six-year-old. He turned professional in 2010 when he made his debut on the competitive FIFA scene.
Why he can become FIFA eWorld Cup champion:
Defensive strength: He had one of the best defensive records at the play-off event in Amsterdam
Dani 'Dani' Hagebeuk - Netherlands The Dutchman has been under contract at Ajax since 2017 and has already won a pair of eDivisie titles with the Amsterdam club. 'Dani' also qualified for the Grand Final last year, gaining his first taste of action on the biggest stage of all.

Michael 'MegaBit' Bittner - Germany The Bochum player goes into the Grand Final as the top seed on Xbox after being crowned champion at the play-offs in Amsterdam. ‘Megabit’ has been playing FIFA since 2005 and has been a part of the competitive scene since 2016.

Attacking strength: He scored the most goals in the play-offs (75)
Desire: Neither he nor any other German player has managed to win the Grand Final
Cross-console specialist: He has delivered convincing performances on both PlayStation and Xbox
Other Players to Watch:
Mosaad 'Msdossary' Aldossary - Saudi Arabia Aldossary finished top of the pile at the second FUT Champions Cup in Manchester back in April. That triumph secured him his play-off spot, where he qualified for the Grand Final as the fifth seed on Xbox.
Nicolas 'nicolas99fc' Villalba - Argentina The Argentinian is among the favourites for the title after a string of impressive event performances, not least in Amsterdam, where he finished as the top seed on PlayStation.
Spencer 'Gorilla' Ealing - England Last year’s champion qualified for the 2018 Grand Final in convincing fashion by finishing as the third seeded player. Ealing’s attacking prowess is feared among his fellow competitors, and he is looking to become the first player to become champion in consecutive years.
Kai 'deto' Wollin - Germany Wollin suffered defeat to ‘Gorilla’ in the 2017 final. This year he is ready to attack the tournament once more and become the first German player to go all the way. The oldest competitor participating, ‘deto’ is also the most experienced and is particular strong in defence.
