  • Can 'Maestro' recreate his eNations Cup heroics?

  • Frenchman has gone from strength to strength this year

Tasting global glory in London is something that ‘Maestro’ is already accustomed to. The Frenchman bounced back from a disappointing showing at February's FIFA eClub World Cup to triumph at April's FIFA eNations Cup, claiming the inaugural title along with team-mate ‘DaXe’.

With players representing their country in an official capacity for the first time, 20 teams from across six confederations were narrowed down to one with France overcoming formidable opposition to be named the best national side on the planet.

As a result of the victory, ‘Maestro’ bagged a tasty 1,500 EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series points, helping him secure PlayStation’s second seed come end of the Playoffs going into the eWorld Cup.

"It feels great to win the first ever eNations Cup with my brother,” 'Maestro' told FIFA.com back in April, celebrating his victory alongside ‘DaXe’. “It’s crazy! I want to thank the French Football Federation. Everybody worked hard for us to be in good condition and we’re very grateful for that."

Known for busting out a Kylian Mbappe-style celebration, ‘Maestro’ has proved he’s a match for any of the world’s elite players and having gone from strength to strength this season, he will naturally be one to watch at the eWorld Cup.

What they said

"You feel confident when you win a tournament like the eNations Cup. Of course, it wasn’t a 1v1 tournament, you had a team-mate with you, but it boosts confidence going into the future. I hope it will help me."
