Next week on FIFA.com

Just like every Sunday, we whet your appetite with a sneak peek at what is in store on FIFA.com over the course of the week ahead, which is headlined by the start of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017 on Thursday.

Between the big kick-off on 27 April and the final on Sunday 7 May, FIFA.com will be giving you a front-row seat to follow the action, with video highlights of every game, round-ups after every matchday, photos, reaction, analysis and more. The 16 participating nations are all raring to go and 15 of them are dreaming of succeeding defending champions Portugal, who won the last edition of the competition on home sand in 2015 and will be looking to retain their crown.

The oldest player to feature at a FIFA World Cup™ – having graced the global stage at the grand age of 43, an incredible 16 years after playing at France 1998 – Colombia's Faryd Mondragonpushed the limits in more ways than one.
