Next week on FIFA.com

Just like every Sunday, we whet your appetite with a sneak peek at what is on the menu on FIFA.com in the coming days.

Discussion of women's football will take centre stage on FIFA.com at the beginning of the week with the 2017 FIFA Conference for Equality and Inclusion, which will also be streamed on Facebook and our YouTube channel. Be sure not to miss this opportunity to explore the state of the female game and the key issues surrounding its development. The programme is split into three sessions with the following themes: Progressing towards Gender Equality; Men as Equal Agents of Change; and Strength in Diversity: Achieving Inclusion in/through Sport.

Another increasingly hot topic is the steadily approaching 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, especially in Wales and Congo DR. On this note, on Monday FIFA.com will also be hearing from two players from these countries about their dreams of reaching Russia. Ashley Williams will be outlining how the Dragons' UEFA EURO 2016 exploits have fuelled the nation's hopes of returning to the global extravaganza some 60 years after their first and only appearance at the competition. For his part, Junior Kabananga is equally upbeat about the Leopards' chances on the back of their superb start to qualifying and their fine showing at the recent CAF Africa Cup of Nations.

Following the pair's lead the next day will be Marcelo Diaz, who will be talking about Chile's impending meeting with neighbours Argentina and how determined the South American champions are to make it to Russia. On Wednesday, on the other hand, you will be able to find out more about the man regularly described as the Lionel Messi of beach soccer, Noel Ott. The Swiss star could spark more such comparisons if he shines at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017, to be contested from 27 April to 7 May.

On Thursday, we will turn our attention to the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 alongside Aman Chetri, one of the most highly rated prospects in Indian football. On Friday, meanwhile, the former figure skater Evgeni Plushenko, a multiple Olympic medallist, will be explaining why he is convinced that Sochi will be a perfect venue for the upcoming FIFA Confederations Cup.

The above is just a taster of what awaits you on FIFA.com in the days ahead. We will also be bringing you all the latest news on FIFA and its tournaments, scores of videos and photos, several exclusive interviews and all your favourite regular features. Have a great week of football.
