Just like every Sunday, we whet your appetite with a sneak peek at what is in store on FIFA.comin the coming days.

We will kick off the week with an update on the second edition of FIFA's Female Leadership Development Programme, the third and final module of which is taking place in Amsterdam. This will be just one part of a wealth of women's football coverage, as ever: other items on the menu include our club review on Tuesday, an interview with Scotland goalkeeper Gemma Fay on Wednesday and a look at the advances in the female game in the Philippineson Thursday.

On Wednesday, we'll hear from manager Heimir Hallgrimssonwho is hoping to reach Russia 2018 with Iceland after the spirited minnows captured the hearts of many at UEFA EURO 2016. Reaching Russia would cap Iceland's remarkable rise – one that Hallgrimsson has been heavily involved in – as well as providing the ultimate reward for their fans, whose passionate support has been inspirational in their country's exploits. FIFA.comrecently caught up with the 49-year-old coach and dentist, and that conversation will also be coming your way.

Speaking of the battle for global glory, the 100-day countdown to the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017begins on Thursday. To mark the occasion, we will be hearing from the vice-chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Cha Bumkun, who featured for Korea Republic at Mexico 1986 as a player and France 1998 as the national team manager.

We have another exclusive interview, on this occasion with Stanislav Cherchesov, to wrap up the week. The Russia coach will be sharing his thoughts on a number of subjects, chief among them the forthcoming FIFA Confederations Cup, which gets underway in June.

You also have all of your favourite regular features to look forward to, including our statistical round-up and the quotes of the week. And, as if that were not enough, we will be bringing you photos aplenty, videos galore and several surprises. Have a great week of football on FIFA.com.
