Naturally 7 & Julian Perretta to perform at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony

‘Vocal play’ pioneers Naturally 7 and English singer-songwriter Julian Perretta are to perform at The Best FIFA Football Awards™ ceremony on 9 January 2017, entertaining guests at the Zurich TPC studios and those following the event around the world.

Americans Naturally 7 are architects of a style which involves no instruments but is distinct from a cappella. As the band explain: “A cappella is defined as singing without instruments. Vocal Play is singing as instruments, and becoming an instrument with the voice. What makes Naturally 7 special is that every instrument sound that they sing is created from the human voice.”

The band are also no strangers to major arenas and sold-out shows, having toured the world supporting Michael Buble, as well as appearing as special guests for both Coldplay and Diana Ross.

Englishman Julian Perretta has enjoyed similar experiences while touring with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Mark Ronson, all from humble beginnings as a 17-year-old singing in ‘open mic’ nights across London.

Having already enjoyed chart success across Europe, the 27-year-old recently sought to incorporate an electronic flavour to his pop songwriting, and this shift towards dance music has seen him scale new heights. ‘Miracle’, the single he released in collaboration with Belgian producer Lost Frequencies, was a number one hit in several countries, and new album ‘Karma’ has taken him further in this exciting new direction.

With The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony being streamed live on FIFA.com and FIFA on YouTube, you will be able to watch both acts perform before the various award-winners are crowned.
