FIFA to hold eClub World Cup in Paris
This year’s FIFA eClub World Cup will be held at the AMP Studios in Paris, France from 19 to 20 May. Featuring 16 professional eSports football teams, the eClub World Cup is a crucial part of the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup, virtual football's equivalent of the FIFA World Cup™.
A total of 32 players will compete at the AMP Studios, featuring two players from Paris Saint-Germain, and two from reigning champions Brøndby.
The 16 teams participating in the FIFA eClub World Cup will not only be competing for a total prize pool of USD $50,000, but also for four seats in the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs. At the playoffs, 64 players on Xbox One and 64 players on PlayStation 4 will fight for their places at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 Grand Final.
