  • Relive Msdossary's visit to The Best FIFA Football Awards

Ever since the first incarnation of the FIFA eWorld Cup™ – which was originally called the FIFA Interactive World Cup – winners of the tournament have been given the opportunity to meet the world’s best footballers.

This year Mosaad ‘Msdossary’ Aldossary returned to London after his victory at the start of August to rub shoulders with the beautiful game’s biggest stars at The Best FIFA Football Awards™.

"I've stayed in London for around 20 days after my victory.", said Aldossary. "It's like a second home for me."

On his arrival in London on the eve of the awards show, he met FIFA Legends including Julio Baptista, Michel Salgado, Roberto Carlos and Vitor Baia.

He returned to the venue decked out in a smart suit and bow tie a few hours later to mix with some of the evening’s top stars.

His first encounter was with The Best FIFA Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and his Real Madrid team-mate Marcelo, who was named in the FIFA FIFPro World XI. The Belgium international even recalled the Final Showdown when he told Aldossary: "With a suit I didn’t recognise you. You won against the Belgian guy!"

Aldossary said about the Belgian Goalkeeper: "He loves FIFA and he also watched my last game, that's why it was special to meet him."

He then met three more players in the FIFA FIFPro World XI – Dani Alves, Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos. "I was so excited to meet Sergio Ramos", Aldossary stated after the event.

The highlight of the evening was a chat with The Best FIFA Men’s Player recipient Luka Modric, who said to Aldossary: "I play FIFA too, but I’m not that good."

As well as posing for photos, the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup champion also got the world’s best footballers to sign his tournament shirt.

"Dreams come true - I’ve had a fantastic day and I hope to be here next year," Aldossary said at the end of the event, suggesting that he is already thinking about how to become the first player to defend his title at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
