Barcelona draw at Chelsea, Bayern cruise past Besiktas

Chelsea hosted Barcelona, while Bayern Munich were at home to Besiktas in the first legs of their UEFA Champions League, Round of 16 ties.

In a pulsating clash at Stamford Bridge, a late goal by Lionel Messi earned Barcelona a 1-1 draw with Chelsea, who took the lead through a fine second-half strike from Willian.

In Bavaria, Bayern Munich took advantage of an early red card for the visitors to cruise to a comfortable 5-0 victory over ten-man Besiktas. Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski each scored a brace for the home side.
