Denmark – 'Marcuzo' and 'M10 Ustun'

  • Two former FIFA eClub World Cup champions

  • One former eFootball world champion as backup

  • 'M10 Ustun' is currently in the Top 5 of the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings

Any country that can boast a former world champion and six-time Grand Finalist as its backup player can undoubtedly be considered among the favourites to win this tournament. The Danes are aiming to finish in the top three with the help of FIFA expert and TV host Dennis Nordenbol, who will draw on more than 15 years of experience in the eFootball scene as Denmark’s coach. 'M10 Ustun' was the best PlayStation player at the FUT Champions Cup in Singapore and won the FIFA eClub World Cup with Brondby in 2018. 'Marcuzo' won the latter competition a year earlier and is considered among the best players on the scene, having competed at the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final last year.

Netherlands – 'Dani' and 'Bob95'

  • With two FeWCs and two FeCWC appearances to his name, Dani Hagebeuk boasts plenty of experience

  • Both players currently contracted by Ajax

  • 'Bob95' plays for Japanese club Sagan Tosu on loan

Dani Hagebeuk won the eDivisie title in 2017 and 2018 and has made two appearances at both the FIFA eWorld Cup and FIFA eClub World Cup. This vastly experienced player is now seeking to win the FIFA eNations Cup with his compatriot and club-mate Bob van Uden. Both secured their places in the Netherlands’ newly founded eFootball national team by being the highest-placed Dutch players in online and offline qualification. Their biggest rivals are England in Group A.

Australia – 'MarcusGomes' and 'Marko'

  • Marcus Gomes is a former Grand Finalist

  • Both players are in the Top 30 of the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings

  • The two highest-placed Australians in the rankings

Marcus Gomes – a 2017 Grand Finalist who has already qualified for more than eight events in the 2019 Global Series and is currently 11th in the rankings – is joining forces with 'FutWizMarko‘, who finished in the top 16 at the FUT Champions Cup Bucharest and also qualified for the eChampionsLeague. The Australians have set themselves the target of winning the competition. Marcus names 'F2Tekkz' as his biggest rival – and perhaps the pair will meet during the tournament.

Russia – 'klenoff' and 'Ufenok77'

  • Russia are aiming to reach the knockout stages for the first time

  • Fakhretdinov is the best Russian player in the rankings

  • Coached by one of the country’s best EA SPORTS NHL players

As the outsiders in this group, Russia’s eFootball national team are simply focusing on reaching the knockout stages. Their two representatives play for rival clubs in their homeland, with 'klenoff' competing for Dynamo Moscow while 'Ufenok77' is contracted by Lokomotiv Moscow. The pair are teaming up at the FIFA eNations Cup after earning their national side call-ups by taking the top two spots at the Russian eFootball Championship in 2018. Their coach studied eSports Management in Russia and is keen to help his team in London by drawing on his analytical skills and his event expertise as an EA SPORTS NHL player.

Portugal – 'Tuga810' and 'RastaArtur'

Having dominated the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings for their country so far this season, top 15 positions have secured 'Tuga810' und 'RastaArtur' places in Portugal’s eFootball national team. The next highest-placed Portuguese player is more than 80 places adrift of the high-flying pair. Despite normally being rivals, the duo are joining forces for the FIFA eNations Cup in the spirit of "Todos Portugal", which translates as "All for Portugal". Both players finished in the top four at the FUT Champions Cup in Atlanta, while 'Tuga810' played his way into the top 10 of the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings with a top-four finish at the FUT Champions Cup Bucharest.
