President Infantino attends both matches as knockout stages start in style

  • Tunisia and Qatar through to FIFA Arab Cup 2021™ semi-finals

FIFA President Gianni Infantino attended both quarter-final matches on the opening night of knockout round action at FIFA Arab Cup 2021™, taking part in productive discussions with member association representatives and guests.

Mr Infantino saw Tunisia prevail 2-1 over Oman in the first match of the evening before heading to Al Bayt, the venue for the final of the tournament, where hosts Qatar reached the final four with a 5-0 success against United Arab Emirates.

Both stadiums profiled FIFA’s #SafeHome messaging on International Human Rights Day.
