The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee chaired by Mr Hans-Joachim Eckert has decided to extend the suspension of Mr Worawi Makudi by 45 days, at the request of the investigatory chamber. The suspension imposed on Mr Makudi on 7 October 2015 (notified to him on 12 October 2015) for a duration of 90 days will end today, 9 January 2016, at midnight. The extension of the suspension starts on 10 January 2016.
