United Arab Emirates, Japan and Oman have secured their places at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Paraguay 2019 with semi-final wins at the 2019 AFC Beach Soccer Championship.
Japan recorded an emphatic 6-0 win against Palestine, before being crowned champions on Sunday thanks to victory over UAE on penalties.
A 3-2 defeat of Oman had already seen them book their place in Paraguay, with Oman bouncing back to edge Palestine 2-1 on penalties following a 2-2 stalemate.
The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Paraguay 2019 kicks off on 21 November with 16 teams competing for the global prize. As well as hosts Paraguay, African sides Nigeria and Senegal have secured their berths at the tournament.
