The chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided to provisionally suspend a Guam international footballer for an initial period of 30 days and opened disciplinary proceedings following an adverse analytical finding in relation to a doping control conducted after the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ qualifier between Oman and Guam played in Muscat on 24 March 2016.
This suspension covers all types of matches including domestic, international, friendly and official fixtures.
In accordance with art. 69 par. 2 of the FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations, further information may only be disclosed either after it has been determined in a hearing that an anti-doping rule violation has occurred, or after such hearing has been waived, or the assertion of an anti-doping rule violation has not been challenged within the relevant deadline.
