During a ceremony held in its headquarters in Neuchatel, The International Center for Sports Studies (CIES) signed a partnership agreement with Istanbul's Bahcesehir University.

This private institution, founded in 1998, is composed of six faculties: business administration, communication, engineering, arts and sciences, law and architecture. Bahcesehir University will organise the FIFA/CIES sport management course for Turkey and its neighbouring countries as from next September.

Bahcesehir University encourages its students to develop their curiosity, their sense of investigation and their creativity. The university also strives for everyone to fulfil their social responsibilities.

Deniz Ulke Aribogan, the University Rector, stated her satisfaction to initiate a collaboration aiming at the multiplicity and the excellence of joint projects. On his side, Jean-Louis Juvet, CIES President, underlined the importance of a partnership with a young and dynamic university, symbolically located in a city where Europe meets Asia.
