CONMEBOL announced on Thursday that the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final between River Plate and Boca Juniors will be played on Sunday 9 December at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.

The first leg at Boca’s La Bombonera ended 2-2, while last weekend’s return fixture was postponed following disturbances outside the Monumental stadium.

The winner will qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018 and feature in the semi-final on 18 December.
