"We played well, with good pace, plenty of movement and nicely worked goals against well-organised opponents. I'm very happy with my team's performance, although the next match is a completely different proposition. It's a final, and anything can happen in a final. Corinthians keep it tight, work hard and have good players. It's a big ask, but we'll prepare well and we'll be up for it," Rafael Benitez, Chelsea manager.
"It's a disappointing defeat. We did well and matched them at times, but we lost concentration in a few situations. We conceded two goals in quick succession at the start of the second half and were never able to recover. Chelsea were strong opponents and never let us play our football. We knew we'd need a perfect performance if we were to win, but unfortunately we've fallen short. However, we at least want to finish well by winning the third-place play-off," Victor Vucetich, *Monterrey coach.*
