Memorable moments *A century for Tabata
*Japan had more to celebrate on Friday than their impressive 9-4 defeat of Poland, with veteran Teruki Tabata making his 100th appearance for the Asian side. To mark the occasion, the evergreen No7 was presented with a shirt bearing the number '100' on the back at the end of the match.

*Awesome Andrade

*Carballo here to stay
*Carlos Carballo is hardly a new face on the scene, having been named as the best player of the South American qualifiers. The 24-year-old Paraguayan picked up where he left off in that competition, posing a constant threat to the United Arab Emirates defence and scoring both his side’s goals.
