*Goalkeeper Peyman Hosseini has had a stand-out tournament. Having scored the first goal of Bahamas 2017 with a long-range volley, he has been a crucial part of Iran's success on the goalkeeping front too. During their play-off for third place against Italy, he made a stunning, off-balance diving foot save early in the match that got the crowd out of their seats. "Our football federation has supported beach soccer very much," Hosseini said post-match. "We have planned for the tournament and with the good support from our federation, we became the best team in Asia."
*Gori cements his place in history
*Despite the disappointment of losing the play-off for third place, Italy forward Gabriele Gori had plenty to celebrate as he climbed to score the second-most goals ever in a single tournament. The Florence-born forward finished Bahamas 2017 with an impressive tally of 17, second only to Portugal legend Madjer - who scored 21 in 2006. Gori's 17th came from a penalty that showcased his natural goalscoring ability, dispatched with a curling effort into the top corner.

*Brazil celebrated their fifth Beach Soccer World Cup in style as the whole team could be seen huddled together on the sand in the middle of the pitch in Nassau. The huddles continued as the coaching staff circled around and jumped in jubilation while one of their staff members captured their celebrations on his phone. A moment he will surely be reliving for the rest of his life.
