The IFAB launches its own media channels

Today, The International Football Association Board (The IFAB) today launched its own media platforms. Visit the official site website: http://www.theifab.com/. You can also visit The IFAB on Facebook and follow @TheIFAB on Twitter.

The launch arrives just in time for the introduction of the new (static-3eb8.kxcdn.com/documents/60/Laws of the Game_16-17_Digital_Eng.pdf), which come into force on 1 June 2016.

The IFAB’s media platforms were developed to focus on the Laws of the Game of football, to promote the consistent understanding and application of these laws and to serve as an important reference for all related questions. This information is now easily accessible and all in one place.

The IFAB website contains information on the recently revised Laws of the Game 2016/2017, including all relevant explanatory documents and examples for easier reference and understanding.

Official documents, latest news on the organisation’s projects and meetings, and information on the decision-making process and structure of The IFAB can also be found on the IFAB website.

The history of The IFAB and the Laws of the Game, as well as the calendar for upcoming meetings, have also been included in order to bring all football fans, referees, players, coaches and administrators closer to The IFAB’s work.

The IFAB will be regularly updating its website content and actively engaging with followers on its social channels to help promote a clear understanding of the Laws of the Game and to provide information on all important projects and experiments.
