Podium discussions, readings, film evenings and visits from famous faces from the world of football: the FIFA World Football Museum's cultural programme for October, November and December 2017 is full of highlights. Over the last three months of 2017, the museum will again host more than 50 cultural events, all taking "The six football continents" as their common theme.

In October, former World Cup referee Abraham Klein will drop in to talk about his experiences and memories of his time as a match official. He was the man in the middle for England v Brazil in 1970 and for Brazil v Italy in 1982, to name but two of his big games. He also documented his entire career in minute detail, keeping everything from matchballs to yellow cards. He also donated parts of his collection to the FIFA World Football Museum in early 2017. Now, he will stop by the museum to take visitors on a trip down memory lane back to the 1970s.

Highlights in November will include German sports journalist and author Raphael Honigstein reading (in German) from his new Jurgen Klopp biography, "Ich mag, wenn's kracht", as well as the next edition of the popular "Anpfiff" podium discussion focusing on how football culture develops in countries where football is not the national sport.

In December, the renowned Swiss Sport Forum will host its first special edition at the museum. A number of illustrious guests, such as German World Cup-winning coach Joachim Low, will attend the event entitled "Between Confed Cup 2017 and World Cup finals 2018".

The last month of 2017 will also see a screening of the "Once in a Lifetime" documentary on the history of New York Cosmos with the likes of Pele and Franz Beckenbauer taking football to the USA in the 1970s, as well as an interactive workshop with theatre pedagogue, actor and musician Benjamin Muller entitled "Christmas 1914: A Game Between Enemies".

The FIFA World Football Museum also offers twice-weekly themed tours for members of the public taking place on Tuesdays and Sundays for no additional charge.
