On Thursday 9 June 2016 a Chinese FA (CFA) delegation headed by the association’s President Cai Zhenhua made a courtesy visit to FIFA President Gianni Infantino at the headquarters of world football’s governing body in Zurich.

It was the first time President Infantino has met with the CFA President and the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss plans for Chinese football development.

President Cai Zhenhua was accompanied by CFA board member Lin Xiaohua, International Department Director Wang Bin, Technical Department Director Li Feiyu and Zhang Chao from the CFA International Department. The meeting was also attended by FIFA Deputy Secretary General Zvonimir Boban.
