The second day of the FIFA Congress is done and dusted, with a number of important topics touched upon and resolved.
The FIFA Congress, held in Nassau, Bahamas, provided the opportunity for the 208 Member Associations to discuss a number of hot topics and to make decisions. The "6+5" rule was examined, and also protection of minors, for which an amendment of the Statutes is proposed.
Some of the other items on the agenda included the eligibility of players for the Olympic tournaments, with the delegates to also be informed about the level of preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.
FIFA Congress began yesterday at 17:00 local time (23:00 CET) with an entertaining opening ceremony. On stage was be the FIFA President and the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, the Honourable Hubert A.
