Kevin Keegan celebrates scoring for England in their title-clinching 3-1 win over Scotland at Wembley in the British Home Championship on 26 May 1979. John Wark turned in a Kenny Dalglish cut-back to net his first international goal and give Jock Stein’s visitors the lead, but Peter Barnes equalised for Ron Greenwood’s team with a scuffed shot on the stroke of half-time. After the restart, a Steve Coppell tap-in put England in front, before Keegan played a one-two with Trevor Booking and slid the ball past goalkeeper George Wood to put the result beyond doubt.
