Nakata returns for Figo charity game
Former Japan international Hidetoshi Nakata has chosen to return to the pitch - at least for a charity game hosted by Portuguese star Luis Figo.
Nakata, the two-time Asian Footballer of the Year who retired after last year's FIFA World Cup™, will play in Saturday's game in Lisbon, his agent said in a statement.
During his career, Nakata spent seven years in Italy's Serie A - with Perugia, AS Roma, Parma, Bologna and Fiorentina - before moving to Bolton Wanderers on a one-year loan deal.
Figo, the 2001 FIFA World Player of the Year, has hosted the charity game every year since 2003.
