New Zealand will play China PR in a friendly match in Shanghai on 14 November, New Zealand Football announced on Friday.
The match will allow All Whites coach Ricki Herbert to experiment with his line-up before New Zealand hosts Oceania's fourth round of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ qualifiers in March next year.
New Zealand have won six of their 12 internationals against China, with the most recent meeting a 1-1 draw in Wuhan in March last year.
Famously the pair met in Singapore in 1981, with New Zealand claiming a 2-1 win in a crucial result en-route to qualifying for the 1982 FIFA World Cup™.
