France striker Loic Remy is fighting to be fit for UEFA EURO 2012 after being ruled out for up to four weeks.
Remy suffered a thigh injury in Marseille's 3-0 win over Auxerre on Sunday and is now battling to be fit to play in Poland and Ukraine this summer.
A Marseille statement read: "Loic Remy is suffering from a lesion in the right quadriceps. He will be out for three to four weeks."
France coach Laurent Blanc names his preliminary list of home-based players for the tournament on Wednesday. His final 23-man squad for the championship must be submitted to UEFA by 29 May.
