Teofilo Gutierrez scored two goals to power Colombia past Honduras 2-0 in an international friendly between the Latin American rivals.

Gutierrez scored a penalty kick in the 24th minute after he was pulled down in the area by Honduran defender Victor Bermudez.

His second goal came in the 71st minute when he netted a rebound off a shot by Dayro Moreno.

Each team finished with ten men after Honduran Hendry Thomas was ejected in the 50th minute and Colombia's Gustavo Ramos was dismissed by referee Jorge Gonzalez.
