Flamengo forward Ronaldinho has been recalled to the Brazil squad for next month's friendly against Ghana at Craven Cottage after a nine-month absence.

The 31-year-old has not featured for his country since a 1-0 defeat to Argentina last November - his only appearance in Mano Menezes' reign as Seleção coach. "Ronaldinho is a world champion with the Brazil team and after his return to the country he has readjusted and he is playing very well," said Menezes, of the player who has scored five goals in his last 12 league outings.
